Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to fill the position of Drug Shop Attendant in Bugaya, Buvuma. The ideal candidate should be a female passionate about providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Assist customers in finding the products they need, answer their inquiries, and provide information about medications and healthcare products.

2. Sales and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory, manage stock levels, and place orders for replenishment as needed. Ensure that the drug shop is well-stocked with essential medications and healthcare products.

3. Dispensing Medications: Dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines. Provide appropriate instructions to customers regarding the use and storage of medications.

4. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the drug shop clean, organized, and free from hazards. Ensure that medications are stored properly according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.

5. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing the sale and dispensing of medications. Maintain confidentiality regarding customers' personal information and medical history.

6. Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, transactions, and inventory levels. Generate reports as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a drug shop or pharmacy is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
