JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES:

Preparing and tendering advice to Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies on matters related to litigation, arbitration and mediation;
Participating in pre-litigation settlement to resolve the matter before a law suit;
Conducting pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments;
Appearing in court and tribunals to receive the rulings/ judgments, decisions;
Researching, organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices;
Maintaining litigation files, reviewing and preparing material for storage or disposal once a case has closed;
Participating in verification and confirmation of claims;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Level of Education: bachelor degree
