Job Description Tour and travel Consultant


We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour and Travel Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including tours, accommodations, and transportation. Your expertise will help clients create memorable travel experiences tailored to their preferences and budgets.​


Key Responsibilities:



  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget constraints.​

  • Itinerary Planning: Design and recommend customized travel itineraries, including destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities.​

  • Booking Arrangements: Coordinate and book travel services such as flights, hotels, car rentals, and tour packages.​

  • Travel Documentation: Advise clients on necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and health requirements.​

  • Customer Support: Provide assistance to clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing any issues or emergencies that may arise.​

  • Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with travel suppliers and negotiate competitive rates to benefit clients.​

  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, new destinations, and travel regulations to provide up-to-date information to clients.​


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.​

  • Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in the travel industry.​

  • Excellent knowledge of travel software and booking systems.​

  • Strong sales and customer service skills.​

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.​

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.​


Preferred Skills:



  • Multilingual abilities to cater to a diverse clientele.​

  • Familiarity with local and international travel destinations.​

  • Experience in creating and promoting travel packages.​


Working Conditions:



  • Office-based role with potential for occasional travel.​

  • Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail and multitasking.​
