Role Overview:
The Assistant Engineering Officer (Biomedical) maintains and repairs biomedical equipment at the hospital, ensuring functionality and safety for patient care.
Qualifications:
- University or institution in Biomedical Engineering.
Other Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Provide routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of hospital and medical equipment.
b) Update and maintain the medical equipment inventory.
c) Participate in conducting training of equipment users.
d) Participate in training technicians and artisans in medical equipment repair and maintenance.
e) Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Competencies:
- Biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
- Inventory management and calibration.
- Training and technical support skills.
- Attention to detail and safety compliance.
